(changes : screenshots, rendering quality,
reduced size, new icon)

I received my GP2X-F200 at the beginning of january 2008.
The GP2X is an open-source, Linux-based handheld video game console and media player created and sold by GamePark Holdings of South Korea.
Developping on it makes me remember when I was programming on pocket calculators (Sharp PC-E500 or HP-48G for example) and on MS-DOS games :)
For my first application, I wrote a small Voxel engine that allows to move in a landscape rendered in realtime.
It was a challenge to make it run smoothtly. At the very beginning, it took more than 10 seconds to render a frame ! Now the result is a lot better, as you can see by yourself.
You can download the GP2X program here.
